The Kogi State Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council of Nigeria, IPAC, Hon. Musa Ukwenya, has disowned a group by the name Kogi West Coalition Of Political Parties (KWCPP).
The Chairman in a statement described the Coalition who addressed a press conference calling for the zoning of the 2023 Governorship election to the West as scammers.
The Chairman cautioned those going by the name of coalition outside IPAC to desist, said the coalition would be forced to take appropriate action against them.
The Chairman described IPAC as the umbrella body for political parties in the State, lamented that those who came under the coalition were people whose parties have been deregistered by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The IPAC fingered the Coalition under the Secretary; Hon. Ephraim Medupin and the PRO Hon. Garba Bako for holding an illegal press briefing, described them as scammers.
Hon. Ukwenya warned that the State IPAC would henceforth arrest imposters under the guise of any coalition.
