The First Lady, Kabba Bunu LGA, Mrs. Dare Grace has sent a message of commendation to Hajia Sefinat Ahmed Ododo, the First Lady of Kogi State for her fight against Gender Based Violence and for her successfully hosting this year’s International Women’s Day.
Mrs. Dare commended the first lady for organizing a massive advocacy for violence against women through the international day for violence against women.
The Kabba Bunu first lady described this year’s event as first of it kind that was organized massively by the State.
The First Lady of Kabba Bunu LGA commanded the initiative to hold the massive program at the State capital, Zonal Senatorial District headquarters and in Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency, described the leadership of women by Hajia Safinat Ahmed Ododo as unprecedented.
Mrs. Dare used the medium to thank the State First Lady for all her support for the women folks through inclusion in governance and Empowerment, described her as a quintessential mother indeed.
Mrs. Dare described the unassuming nature and humility but highly impactful support of the Kogi first lady to any program geared towards the liberation of women, children and the vulnerable as highly commendable.
