Int’l Day to end violence against Journalists: ActionAid Nigeria organises 2 Hours Zoom meeting for critical stakeholders.

ActionAid Nigeria has called on all journalists, activists, civil society, media owners, media groups, academia, and regulatory agencies to participate in a two-hour national media convening in commemoration of the 2021 International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists.

In a statement Signed by the Communication Coordinator, Nihilola Ayanda, and made available to Journalists in Lokoja on Tuesday, noted that the Zoom meeting billed to hold on 2nd November, 2021 is to Xray how Nigeria is countering threats of violence and crimes against journalists.

The statement added that the conversation, with the theme ” Actioning Safety and Protection of Women Journalists” will particularly focus on women and how to protect freedom of expression for all.
