INSTITUTE OF STRATEGIC ENTREPRENEURS OF NIGERIA TRAINS, INDUCTS MEMBERS AS FELLOW
The Institute of Strategic Entrepreneur Of Nigeria has trained and Inducted some of it members as Fellow of the Institute.
The training/ Induction and investiture of fellow was Performed, Saturday November 2,2023 at the Green Minds Hotel Utako, Federal Capital Territory (fct) Abuja, with the theme,”Entrepreneurship Education: An imperative for Sustainable Economic growth”, was attended by Captains of Industry, top Governments functionaries,Head of Governments Agencies, Skills Entrepreneurs, members of the Institute and participants from far and near.
The Ceremony also featured lectures from Expert and resource persons, thought provoking Speeches were also made by various members of the Institute.
The key not Speaker, Prof. Kelechi Chukwumere said the world today is driven by Knowledge, Skills and innovations, and that for any individuals, Organizations to remain Competitively relevant in a Changing world, there was a need to update the Knowledge and Skills so acquired,hence the need for training, Seminars and Conferences.
Continuing,Prof Kelechi asserted that, the Nigeria’s Educational Curriculum was designed in such a way that it doesn’t Promotes Entrepreneurship, thereby leaving the Nation’s highly incapacitated to meet the technological needs for growth and development.
He further pointed out that, Entrepreneurship encourages innovative mind set, Skill acquisition and Vocational training that leads to inventions that translates to development.
Also speaking,the the President of the Institute,Germans Abubakar, Said that Entrepreneurship was the way to go in Nigeria today, Considering the non availability of White Collar jobs, and further Stressed that, the world today is driving by People that are Entrepreneurially inclined.
While lamenting the inability of the Nigeria’s Engineers to provide the technological needs of the Nation, he however blamed the Nigerian Government for it inability to encourage the Nation’s Engineers and others Who are trying to Change the Narrative.
The Registrar of the Institute Mr Elvis Ossai remarked that, Entrepreneurship Education has become the panecea to the Challenges of Non- availability of Job for the teaming Youth and the way out to become technologically advanced.
He also pointed out that, the Institute was poised to train interested persons in acquiring Skills and Vocations, adding that the Institute was already partnering with Some private Organizations and Governments Agencies to ensure that a Sizable numbers of Nigerian youths acquired some Skills that would make them employers of labour.
The high Points of the Ceremony was the investiture and Conferment of the Inducted members as Fellow of the Institute.
