The Executive Director, Initiative for Grassroot Advancement in Nigeria, (INGRA) Hamza Aliyu has received a prestigious award for advocacy excellence from the Nigeria Post newspaper.
Aliyu was honoured at the 2024 Nigeria Post newspaper lecture and awards to mark 33 years of the creation of Kogi State with the theme “sustaining Kogi’s unbroken unity, prospects and possibilities, this house must not fall”.
The INGRA boss is known for his social activism, quest for good governance, dedication to promoting accountability, transparency, and human rights in Kogi State and Nigeria in general.
Aliyu tireless efforts have made a significant impact, inspiring positive change and improving lives.
Aliyu has championed various initiatives, including the passage of the Kogi HIV Anti-Discrimination Bill, and contributed to notable projects and coalitions.
