….lauds INEC on the online portal registration initiative introduced
Lokoja/Kogi Reps Member, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim MHR; has urged constituents who are not yet registered voters to turn out in large number and register in the ongoing INEC continuous voters registration.
“I want to use this opportunity to call on every of our constituents in Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency to please come out and register in the ongoing INEC continuous voters registration,” the statement read in part.
The process which started on Monday, June 28th 2021 was described by the lawmaker as timely and necessary for intending voters to earn for themselves their right to decide their leadership in electoral processes. The lawmaker described the online registration portal initiative introduced by the electoral commission as laudable.
“If you are yet to be a registered voter, this is the time for you to do that, your right to choose leadership as you desire as a people and as a constituency depends on your voter’s card,” the sensitization message from the federal representative further read.
