Independence: “It is not all gloom and doom, there is still hope” — Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi aka So’Miedumare.


 

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi West Senatorial District Aspirant, Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi aka So’Miedumare in his independence anniversary message has assured that despite Nigeria’s challenges, there is still hope for Kogi West Senatorial District.

According to him, Nigeria’s founding fathers could never have fathomed that 61 years after independence, Kogi West Senatorial District would be facing a situation where there is underdevelopment.

Going further, Otunba Adeniyi also urged Nigerians particularly people of Kogi West Senatorial District to take democratic action to ensure that the ideals of our founding fathers – Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress – are not set aside on the altar of not participating in voting for the right candidate.

The leading PDP Senatorial District Aspirant assured that there’s much hope for the district if men of goodwill are elected, promised to make the district a cynosure of all eyes if elected.

While he lauded the perseverance and sacrifices of the people of Kogi West over time in staying United, Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi aka So’Miedumare called for prayers for Kogi West to take it rightful place in the nation’s scheme of things in 2023.

He reiterated his commitment to offer selfless service if elected, pointing out that he has a wholistic blueprint of representation that would usher in the much needed development.

According to the Aspirant, ” I call for prayers, as others would indeed call for today. I also call on Nigerians particularly people of Kogi West to show more understanding, as indeed many have said in the past and will undoubtedly say again today that with the desired representation, Kogi West Senatorial District would be the cynosure of all eyes”.
