The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in last Saturday’s National Assembly election for Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, Honourable Paul Gowon Haruna has called on his supporters to remain calm as INEC declares election in the area inconclusive.
The candidate of the APC who was coasting to victory and was expecting to be declared winner said God had already given him victory adding that the re- run in 42 polling units as ordered by INEC is an opportunity for people to see the hand of God in his project.
He urged the electorate in Dekina/Bassa to discountenance the allegations coming from the opposition describing it as the last kick of a dieing horse.
Honourable Paul Gowon Haruna urged his supporters not to be deterred as they prepare for the re- run in 42 polling units of the Constituency stressing the need for full concentration on ensuring landslide victory for the APC.
The candidate of the APC used the opportunity to appreciate party leaders, Women and Youths in the area for standing by him and urged them not to relent until final victory is achieved.
