The executive Chairman of Ijebu east local government area of Ogun State, Hon. Wale Adedayo has received the Naija exellence Award, thenigerian post has learnt.
Hon. Adedayo, a journalist,public affairs analyst turn politician was awarded as the local government Chairman of the year 2022 South-West along other eminent Nigerians in an award Ceremony, held at the Nigeria Merit Award House,Maitama Abuja,Teusday, December 13,2022.
Speaking shortly after he was honoured,Hon. Wale Adedayo described the motive and action of the organization as highly Commendable, adding that identifying and recognizing hardworking Nigerians and persons who had Contributed immensely to the society either in the private or public sector was a welcome development and a good omen.
Continuing, the Ijebu east Council boss further stressed that, such Compliments from an independent body will definitely spur exellence and also boast the Morales of would be recipients towards patroitism, Nation building and service to humanity.
Reacting to question on who was he dedicating the award to,Hon, Adedayo said he was dedicating the award to Major Patrick Nnzugwu Chukwuma Kaduna, the masterminds and leader of the first military coup in Nigeria, which led to the death of some of our nationalist and first republic politicians, whom he described as a hero and a Patriot.
Continuing,hon. Adedayo stressed that, Maj, Kaduna had all what it takes to live a comfortable live, but he was worried by the plight of the suffering masses and was driven by the spirit of patroitism to salvage the nation from various Challenges affecting it Strive to nationhood.
