Idah Fed. Const.: Group Endorses Hon. Uchola Omale Ojogbane of PDP As Consensus Candidate


 

The Ofu Patriots, a Socio Political Pressure group has adopted Hon. Uchola Omale Ojogbane as its preferred candidate for Idah Federal Constituency, House of Representatives Election.

 

Arising from a meeting held at Ugwolawo yesterday, Samson Ufejiji, spokesman of the group, said all options considered, Hon. Uchola remains the most preferred amongst those jostling to represent Idah Federal Constituency.

The Youth group listed capacity, acceptability, integrity and accessibility, qualities ingredients that makes democracy the best form of representation.

The Group says it is not partisan, said it decision was unanimous having x-rayed all the contestants, described Hon. Uchola as a man with an unblemished records and antecedents.

While they assured of massive mobilization for the PDP candidate, the group launched some campaign materials that would aid in sensitization and mobilization.

The Reps hopeful while addressing APC members who showed interest in joining the PDP, described the excruciating poverty in the land as unbearable, promised a new lease of life if elected.

In a telephone discussion with the Nigerianpost, Ojogbane admonished the people of Ofu Local Government Area to remain consistent with the PDP, assuring that the PDP will return to power in 2023.

Uchola Ojogbane expressed optimism that with the support of the PDP members in Idah Federal Constituency, assured of winning the general election, described Idah as a traditional home of the PDP since 1998.

He charged constituents to take advantage of the continuous voters registration to obtain their PVC, said 2023 remains a defining moments for the people to cause a change.

“As the country prepares for the 2023 general elections, only those with registered PVC would be able to vote candidates of their choice”, he said.

The PDP candidate promised quality representation if elected, promised to make the peoples welfare, empowerment and attracting democracy dividends as priority if elected.
