Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Area, Hon. (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh received in audience, the National body of Ife Development Association (IDA) in his residence in Abejukolo.
The highest development body in Omala, who were on a courtesy call declared total support for Hon. Aboh’s administration.
The National President of IDA, Elder Dr. Aaron Omaye on behalf of the body congratulated the Executive Chairman on his election, assured him of their unflinching support, saying they will cue behind the government in power for more gains of democracy.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh thanked the Association for the visit. He reiterated his commitment to uplift the standard of IDA in his tenure and charged them to work with him to equally write their name in gold as executives of the association during their tenure.
While he called for continuous support for Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration, Alhaji Aboh said, “I’m a true if son. Any thing that is anti government, is anti development, and as such I can not be party to anything that denigrate or bring the ideals of IDA to disrepute. We are for development, let all hands be on deck to better the lots of our people”, he said.
