
The crowned Regent of Itakpa in Iruh clan of Iyano Ibaji, Chief Ambrose Inelo has said that his reign on the stool of his father late Chief Chukwuka Inelo would transform the lives of his people.
Chief Inelo who stated this shortly after the burial of his father, the Onu Itakpa of Itakpa in Iruh Iyano, Chief Anthony Chukwuka Inelo at Iyano yesterday, said he will emulate the good deeds of his father and lead his people with the fear of God.
Describing his late father as a lover of peace, hardworking, hospitable and successful farmer, Chief Inelo said his period as crowned Regent to oversee the affairs of the clan for three years would witness revolution in the area.
He said he will join hands with the Onu of Iyano, His Royal Highness, Chief Simon Egwuda and other clan heads in the community to touch the lives of the people positively.
The “Otaa” of Itakpa called for peace, unity and tolerance, stating that progress cannot be achieved in the atmosphere of crisis
