Reps Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim today renewed his avowed commitment to continue to serve the good of his constituency and consequently the good of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as a federal representative and lawmaker.
He made this commitment today when he received Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives in his office on the felicitation of his birthday by colleagues and staff.
The lawmaker thanked the Speaker for making out time to honour him on his special day inspite of his tight schedules as Speaker of the House. The lawmaker also appreciated his team of staff for their loyalty and service to his vision and mission as a lawmaker and to the course of the constituency.
“I will continue to give my best to my constituency, Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency of Kogi State, they are the reason I can be here today as a federal representative. I will continue to give my best to Nigeria’s development, as a federal lawmaker,” Hon. Shaba noted.
The lawmaker called on those heating up the polity to put an end to such, as Nigeria is better as a united entity than separated. He said he believes Nigeria will outlive its present challenges.
“With unity of purpose, we shall as a nation surmount our challenges,” Hon. Shaba further added.
Speaking about Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila called him a humble lawmaker who has brought alot of positive impact to the House.
