How GYB, Gov.Ododo’s support boosts Oyebamaji victory, strengthens APC nation wide

By Hon Chris Ben-Kato Senior Special Assistant on information and communication strategy

There is no gain saying that Kogi indigines in Ekiti state are up to thirty five to fourty percent in population. No serious minded politician jokes with such a sizeable number of people in any given state.
Come to think of it, the now re-elected Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti state, knew before hand that winning his second term in office would require reaching out to every segment of the people living in his state. And one group he can never toy with is Kogi indigines living in Ekiti state.
When Governor Oyebanji second term election drew closer there was the dire need for the All Progressives Congress Governor’s forum to lend a helping hand of support. As a matter of friendship and political comradeship, former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo were on hand to mobilize the people of Kogi in Ekiti state to ensure an easy win for the governor.
As is public knowledge, Kogi people are friendly and adaptable to any environment they find themselves. This clear disposition made it easier for His Excellencies, Former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to mobilize Kogi people for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state off-cycle governorship election.
As Allah in his infinite mercies would have it, the labour of His Excellencies were never in vain. The people of Kogi in Ekiti state listened to the voices and instructions of their leaders – former Governor Bello and Governor Ododo in voting enmasse for the victory of Governor Oyebanji second term in office.
Few days to the election both former Governor Bello and Governor Ododo work hard in Ekiti state to ensure the victory of Oyebanji. Infact both of them denied themselves luxury and decided to stay in Ekiti untill the election results were announced. What a resilient and supportive spirit of the great Kogi APC leaders. Allah’s name has to be praised as Governor Oyebanji swept all the Local Government Areas in coasting to victory at the election.
In the spirit of love and good friendship, His Excellency and the servant leader of Kogi State, Governor Ododo has since sent his congratulatory message to Governor Oyebanji on his well deserved victory. According to the Governor ” the victory of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji is well deserved considering his good work in the state.” He added that the victory is also a strong testimony of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s good leadership and the leadership of APC administration across the thirty six states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is a great leader. He is not just the Chief Servant of Kogi State but a politician who believes in offering genuine hands of fellowship to his colleagues whenever the need arises. This he has done with the full support of his predecessor in office, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in ensuring the resounding victory of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in last week’s Ekiti state governorship election. KUDOS to our amiable and God fearing governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
There is no doubt that His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has been extending his hands of fellowship to his colleagues across the states of the federation whenever the need arises. Kogi State is therefore very hopeful that when the Kogi State off-cycle governorship election comes up in 2027, His Excellency would also receive positive support from all his colleagues in ensuring his smooth ride back to Lugard House for a second term in office.
FOR HIS EXCELLENCY ALHAJI AHMED USMAN ODODO ONE GOOD TERM DESERVES ANOTHER. TARZARCE 2027
