It is a horrible situation as motorists and commuters groan on the Lokoja Okene Road.
The gridlock is unimaginable, vehicles have been trapped in the last 12 hours, no movement to and fro from Okene to Lokoja, ditto for those coming from Kabba.
The Kabba junction is a no go area, no one can go close, as even reporters could not get close to where the problem is, it is a whole lot of suffering.
At a count over 200 trucks and articulated vehicles are trapped, with the gridlock considered as the worst in history.
All efforts to reach the men of the FRSC failed with no one ready to speak on the matter.
For now, it is a case of suffering and angry smile on the faces of the travellers as they remain on one spot with no hope in sight.
