The Forum of Youth Coordinators in the 10 Local Government Areas of Kogi State outrightly condemn in strong terms the activities of some Youths in Lokoja who masquerade as Youth Council Members to destroy the properties of HYPPADEC.
Such act is inhuman and purely against the wish of the progressive Youths of our dear State.
HYPPADEC Zone comprises of ten Local Government Areas which are Adavi, Ajaokuta, Lokoja, Koton karfi, Bassa, Omala, Ibaji, Igalamela , Ofu and Idah Local Government of Kogi State .
Knowing who the State Chairman if NYCN is, Comr. Usman Ogohi Mayor, is humble personality, always advising for the use of dialogue on any issue bordering the Youths in Kogi State. We are very sure and know too well that he will follow up with the people that masterminded the destardly act so as to clear the good image of the entire National Youth Council of the State Chapter.
From what we have seen so far, HYPPADEC under the leadership of the State Coordinator, Dr. Mrs. Joan Ogwuche has done well in terms of Youth Empowerment, Security, Infrastructural development and many more.
The Youth leaders of the HYPPADEC Zones of the State have several times passsed vote of confidence on her leadership style
On this note therefore, we urge the security agencies to bring the perpetrators to book to serve as deterrent to others.
