I warmly congratulate all my fellow aspirants and competitors who participated in the primaries on various party platforms and my good self for the House of Representatives seat of the Idah Federal Constituency, comprising Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela-Odolu, and Ofu Local Government Areas.
Democracy thrives when citizens and leaders freely offer themselves for service, and I commend every aspirant for demonstrating courage, commitment, and a genuine desire to contribute to the development of our constituency. Regardless of the outcome of the contest, every one of us remains a stakeholder in the progress and prosperity of our people.
As we move forward, let us remember that the challenges confronting our constituency transcend political affiliations and personal ambitions. Our people yearn for improved road infrastructure, quality education, accessible healthcare, youth empowerment, agricultural development, job creation, enhanced security, flood mitigation in vulnerable communities, greater economic opportunities for our farmers, traders, and entrepreneurs. Above all, a strong voice that speaks for the land and people of Idah Federal Constituency.
The development needs of Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela-Odolu, and Ofu require collective effort, unity of purpose, and a shared commitment to public service. I therefore urge all political actors and stakeholders to put the interest of our people first and work together in advancing the welfare of our constituency.
May this contest strengthen our democratic values and inspire us all to continue contributing our quota toward building a more prosperous, peaceful, and united Idah Federal Constituency.
As we continue consulting and engaging our people on our representation. Let’s do that in peace, brotherliness and bond that binds us all as one. Whilst we pray for our political heroes like Late Governor Abubakar Audu and Dr Steven Makoji Achema who inspite vying from different platforms did the unthinkable to give our land a head start. May the sacrifice of our heroes past never be in vain.
Finally let me congratulate us on the newly added Igala Ogba State Constituency in Ofu LGA. It’s a collective win for us all.
