Hon.Tom Zakari PhD.who represented the good people of Dekina/Bassa federal constituency in the 7th National Assembly condemned the attacks,killings and destruction of properties in a clash between fulani headers and farmers in Oganenigu ward of Dekina local govt.Kogi State.
Dr.Zakari called on security agencies to come to the rescue of the inhabitants with the view to stop further invasion by the marauding headers and bring the papetrators to justice as the gory pictures emanating from the community is heartbroken.
Speaking further,Dr.Zakari called on Government to profer a parmanent solutions by establishing military checks point at strategic locations within Omala,Dekina and Bassa local governments area.
Similarly,Dr.Zakari call on NEMA/SEMA to come to the aid of the victims by compensating/ making available makeshift houses to them as they have lost their ancestral homes and belongings.
He commiserate with those who lost their loved ones and prayed for the repose of their souls.
