Ebira Opete Woman Association of Kogi State, an association which is headed by the Ebira Progressive Association (EPA), on Friday honoured Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency of Kogi State with a merit award.
The award is in recognition of his outstanding performance in all spheres of concern as a representative.
According to the leadership of the association, the award is to gear the lawmaker to keep doing more and remain focused in his quest to deliver more and more people-oriented projects and programmes.
In response, the Honourable Member who was represented by the Women Leader of the #TeamShaba political structure; Mrs Ibraheem Halimat, appreciated the Association for finding him worthy of the Award.
He said further, that he could be considered for such award, he is excited and encouraged to do more. He said he will not relent in making sure the people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, keep getting the best of Federal representation.
He thanked the Association for the recognition and promised not to let them down on the trust they have reposed in him with the award.
