Nigeria/Russia Parliamentary Group Chairman and Lokoja/Kogi House of Representatives member, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim MHR; has commenced lighting up Lokoja Local Government and Kogi Local Government of Kogi State.
He has made this possible by installing solar-powered street light in various streets of the wards of Lokoja Local Government and Kogi Local Government.
With this great milestone, the idea of urbanising Lokoja and Kogi Local Governments has therefore received a great boost as Hon. Shaba Ibrahim continues to transform Lokoja Local Government and Kogi Local Government to city standard.
This provision of street light across the Federal Constituency by Hon. Shaba Ibrahim is a huge testimony of the reason behind the fact as to why Hon. Shaba Ibrahim is fondly called “Mr Projects” by constituents and followers of the developments in the constituency since Hon. Shaba Ibrahim took office in late 2019.
Benefiting areas in Lokoja Local Government include; Adankolo, Cantonment, Makera, Ajara quarters, Ward D, Igbonla, Bakumba, Eggan, Kinami, Gbebu, Mikugi, Nazogon, Tsanawa and Atsawa.
Benefiting areas in Kogi Local Government include; Koton Karfe town, Girinya, Gegu Beki, Gegu Egba, Orehi, Achabo, Okpaka, Okpaku, Adamogu, Adugbeji and Tganuma.
