A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, ( APC), chief Francis Inegbeniki, has asked the various Political Parties vieing for Edo state governorship election in 2021, to ensure that thier candidates are zoned to Edo Central Senatorial District.
Inegbeniki made the call on Monday at Esan Mega Summit, held in Uromi Town Hall, Esan North East LGA.
He said, “For Esan Agenda or Esan 2024 governorship negotiation to be achieved, Esan political leaders in the two leading political parties must prevail on their parties, to zone the governorship slot to Edo Central Senatorial District, famously known as Esanland”.
“I, as a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in collaboration of other leaders from Esanland, will prevail on our party to zone the position of Governor to Esanland, we expect the leaders of Esan extraction in PDP, to do same”.
“As God will have it, the two state chairmen, from the two leading political parties, in Edo State, are from Edo Central Senatorial District (Esanland)”.
