Nigeria/Russia Parliamentary Group Chairman and Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, MHR; has put up extra efforts recently to continually ease a major challenge of Lokoja/Kogi residents, which is lack of access to potable water.
This is as he has commenced the process of sinking extra ten (10) boreholes across the constituency.
The lawmaker who has been away abroad on national assignment, while flagging off the projects in Lokoja on Tuesday through his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Yakubu Yunusa Chado, said he will stop at nothing in ensuring that constituents get the best of the dividends of democracy.
According the lawmaker, the ten (10) borehole projects are spread across the constituency.
While reiterating the fact in the saying that “water is life”, the federal lawmaker lamented the water challenge faced by constituents and he promised to keep doing all within his might to ensure that under his federal representation, much efforts are in top gear to stamp out potable water scarcity in the constituency.
The locations of the borehole projects as currently ongoing are; Adankolo, Amorley, Lokogoma, Cantonment, Anguwan Tivi, Sarkin Noma, Agbaja in Oworo Ward, Bassa Village In Koton Karfe, Wuro Maugo community and Aduho Ganagana.
