Hon. Raimi Sani is Ajaokuta-born Accountant, an outstanding financial expert, who has managed one of the sensitive departments in Kogi State Ministry of Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs with excellent result-records in the Ministry.
Hon. Raimi Sani, hails from a solidly upper-middle class background, an acclaimed democratic populist, beloved by the youths, women, professionals, unions, party activists and he is a famed consensus builder who consults wide and near before taking on sensitive issues that may impact on the welfare and well-being of his people. He is a man who has total passion and love for his people and other fellows, irrespective of tribe or religion, and above all, a Bridge-Builder.
Like the proverbial, ‘golden fish has no hiding place’; season administrators are always in public domain. Their performance stands them out any day as the public affairs and social commentators are publicly and vocally access their credence and credible contributions to the socio-economic well-being of the people of their community and beyond.
Hon. Raimi, popularly nicknamed and fondly called, “Golden Gift”, by the good people of Ajaokuta Local Government and beyond; he is loved by his community; much as the people appreciate his commitment to their course, even as he is still in the Civil Service, they are equally desirous of having him return to his birthplace to give them a touch of the good stuff he is made of in the Civil and Public Service.
Hon. Raimi is an individual in Civil and Public Service whom many in Ajakouta today and Kogi State in general accept as a shining example and a role model in the State Civil Service. He stamps his world with the strength of his character and his belief in the human development which shines brightly for all to see and emulate. His foray in the Civil Service turns out a career that is resplendent with landmark achievements without blemish which have become a veritable reference point to the younger ones in the Civil Service.
Hon. Raimi is a benevolent and a modern day philanthropist, on account of many things he has been doing to touch people’s lives positively. In all these, Raimi Sani philanthropic gesture stands him out as a man of rare humanitarian profile and a rare gift to Ajaokuta Local Government Area.
In order to consolidate on his temperament, he voluntarily registered an effective and efficient NGO, SEA CARE FOUNDATION, that have being touching the lives of the less-privileged and people in difficulty, health challenges, in particular, as encapsulated in the Sea Care Foundation (SCF) Mission Statement; which is to promote better living for the people as a gateway for socio-economic empowerment and to enhance human capital and to improve infrastructural development in a community.
The organization, SEA CARE FOUNDATION, believes also that development, both human and infrastructural, is not the exclusive preserve of the government. The outfit believes that well-meaning and endowed individuals should always support the efforts of the government within their available resources in order to fast-track development in the community. In line with that believe, the organization (SCF), has been contributing their quota towards the well-being of the people, the less-privileged and infrastructural development in the community, Ajaokuta Local Government, in particular. And this gesture of this noble organization has been demonstrated in many instances.
Worthy of note also, is that the Foundation has provided scholarships to indigent less-privileged University students from Ajaokuta Local Government and beyond.
Indeed, Hon. Raimi Sani compassionate disposition to his people, largely informed the growing pressure on him to venture into partisan politics and join race for the House of Representatives contest in the Local Government. The beef, however, is that Hon. Raimi may have not made up his mind to contest, but as the call becomes louder by the day, it is expected that he, as lover and good listener of his people, will heed to the clarion calls and answer the prayers of his people.
The people also believe that democracy grows stronger when leadership are entrusted in the hands of politicians who have compassion and demonstrated good leadership.
The democratic credentials of this young man can never be in doubt. This is because as a civil servant and creative thinker, he has gotten connected to philosophical stream as an outstanding genius, always working towards the growth of his fatherland. Providence has shown that he will be a positive influence on the destiny of his fatherland.
Finally, from whichever side of coin one looks at Hon. Raimi Sani, he remains a gallant victor at all seasons.
