Hon. Ojogbane Omale Uchola Donates ₦1 Million, Commends Deputy Speaker Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba on Ibaji Secretariat Reconstruction
Earlier today, Hon. Ojogbane Omale Uchola joined the entourage of Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and Member representing Ibaji Constituency, on an inspection tour of the ongoing reconstruction of the Ibaji Local Government Secretariat.
The reconstruction of the Secretariat is one of the constituency projects initiated by Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba to reposition governance and restore confidence in grassroots administration in Ibaji. The project has been widely welcomed by the people of the area as a major step toward strengthening local government institutions.
During the inspection, Hon. Ojogbane Omale Uchola announced a donation of ₦1 million to support the successful completion of the project. While making the donation, he commended Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba for her foresight, commitment, and determination in prioritizing projects that directly impact her people.
In his words: “I must sincerely commend the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, for taking the bold step to make the Ibaji Local Government Secretariat a priority. This project goes beyond infrastructure; it is about restoring the dignity of governance in Ibaji and giving our people a center they can truly call their own. I am proud to support this initiative.”
Responding, Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba appreciated the gesture of Hon. Ojogbane Omale Uchola and reaffirmed her resolve to continue delivering meaningful constituency projects that will uplift Ibaji Local Government. She stressed that the Secretariat, upon completion, will serve as a legacy of service, accountability, and representation.
The inspection, which was attended by party stakeholders, political appointees, and community leaders, further showcased the unity of purpose among leaders committed to the development of Ibaji.
