The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Oladele John Nihi, received the Executives and members of the National Association of Ebira Students (NAES), Kogi State Polytechnic Chapter, in his office at the Government House, Lokoja. The delegation was led by their President, Comrade Muhammed Muhammed (Ohinoyi).
During the visit, Hon. Nihi informed the delegation of his principal and benefactor, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s, commitment to the welfare of all Kogi State citizens, particularly civil servants. He highlighted the recent payment of leave bonuses to civil servants – a significant action not undertaken for over a decade – as clear evidence of this commitment.
In recognition of his efforts, Hon. Nihi was honored with an award as “Champion of Student Welfare.” He immediately dedicated this award to Governor Ododo, acknowledging the Governor for providing him the opportunity to serve closely.
Responding, the President of the National Association of Ebira Students (Kogi State Polytechnic Chapter), Comrade Muhammed Muhammed Ohinoyi, thanked Hon. Nihi for receiving them. “Your warm welcome and sincere advice were truly inspiring, and we feel honored to have had the opportunity to interact with you,” Ohinoyi stated.
Comrade Ohinoyi further thanked the Special Adviser for his kindness, support, and mentorship, praying that God would continue to bless and guide him in all endeavors.
