Hon. Mokikan Solomon Kingsley Supervisor for Education, Kabba Bunu LGA and Kogi West Senatorial District Committee Chairman for the Kogi 2024 international Carnival has sent a message of congratulations to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo over the success of the just concluded 2024 Carnival.
Hon. Kingsley applauded Gov. Ododo for believing in the project abinitio, said the success of the pilot carnival is an indication that with the right political will, the State can match Calabar Carnival and others in the country.
” Your Excellency, you have once again proven that your administration is committed to the diversification of the State economy. Your recent approval and funding of the State International carnival attest to the fact that you place tourism sector a veritable place in your administration “.
” I want to thank you for believing in the Central working Committee, made up of the Commissioner for culture and tourism. The Chairperson and the General Manager, Kogi State Tourism Board. I must sincerely commend the team for justifying the confidence reposed on them. Let me also mention the Zonal and Local Government Coordinators of the carnival. You have proven that to whom an assignment is given, success is expected ”
Hon. Kingsley says he looks forward with strong assurances that with the success of the pilot scheme more will be achieved in future with consistency and commitment pointing out that it was truly a befitting International Carnival.
Hon. Kingsley thanked Gov. Ododo for the trust he placed in the ability of the organising committee, making them to be able to deliver on their mandate.
