Hon. Sunday Karimi, All Progressives Congress Flagbearer for Kogi West Senatorial District, has urged Nigerians, particularly people of Kogi West Senatorial District to use the 2022 Independence Day celebration as a time of sober reflection and also to thank God for the strides made so far as a nation.

Hon. Karimi who said this via a statement issued by his media team, noted that despite numerous challenges, the nation was on a right path.
”On this October 1st, 2022, I congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari, Gov. Yahaya Bello and all Nigerians, especially people of Kogi West Senatorial District on the occasion of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence anniversary.
There are those that may say we have very little to celebrate and I will respectfully disagree with them. In 62 years, Nigeria has faced many challenges, but we have overcome many of those challenges and made progress in multiple spheres of human endeavour,” he said.
He noted though that there was still more to be done to achieve the nation of everyone’s dreams, says he’s working towards quality representation that would build the Kogi West Senatorial District of the dreams of founding fathers.
Hon. Karimi used the statement to congratulate the people of Kogi West Senatorial District, tasked them on the need to look in his direction in the forthcoming February Senatorial District election, assuring that he is resolved to offer quality representation that would enable the district standout amongst others.
While he congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello, Kogites on the auspicious occasion, Hon. Karimi, he prayed for a prosperous nation in Unity of purpose in the coming years.
