Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye Flags Off Construction of Okadigbo Bridge Linking Felele and Sarkin Noma Communities

The Member Representing Lokoja-Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Aguye, today officially flagged off and handed over site for the construction of the Okadigbo Bridge, a vital infrastructure project designed to link Felele in Oworo Ward with Sarkin Noma in Lokoja 1 Local Government Area.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Aguye described the project as a landmark step toward addressing the infrastructural needs of the people, easing transportation challenges, and boosting socio-economic activities in the constituency.
The Okadigbo Bridge is not just a link between two communities, it is a bridge of opportunity, unity, and development which connects Felele in Oworo Ward to Sarkin Noma in Ward E, we are opening up access that will enhance trade, education, healthcare delivery, and community integration, Hon. Aguye stated.
He assured constituents of his continued commitment to pursuing projects that will improve livelihoods and foster inclusive development across Lokoja-Kogi Federal Constituency as same projects will also take off in Budon in Lokoja 2 and Ikumo in Kogi Local Government of his constituency.
The Member Representing Lokoja 1 Constituency Hon. Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani, Lokoja Local Government APC chairman Hon. Bature Maikudi, Lokoja Local Government Secretary Hon. Abubakar Mohammed, Councilors Representing Oworo and Ward E, Hakimi of Sarkin Noma and other community leaders and residents present at the event commended the initiative, noting that the bridge will significantly reduce travel time, promote local commerce, and improve social interaction between the two communities.
The flag-off ceremony marks the beginning of construction works that are expected to be completed within the stipulated timeframe by the contractors.
