Hon. Danga receives award of Excellence from DAYFORUM


 

Kogi State Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources Hon. Abdulmumin Danga today received an award of Excellence from Digital African Youth Forum (DAYFORUM).

 

The Forum whose membership cut across the 36 State including Federal Capital Territory is an Association with prime purpose of using technology in creating and promoting learning opportunities for the growth of the Youth, skills acquisition and advocacy with core objectives of preparing them for effective values.

The National Coordinator of the Association Mr. Abbas Badamasi from Kwara State introduced members of the Association that are in Kogi State with him, he appreciate the Hon. Commissioner for his humanitarian services to the less Privileged, educational outreach and for operating an open door policy thereby meeting with people’s social responsibilities.

Mr. Abbas Eulogize the Hon. Commissioner as a Philanthropist, Natural representative of our generation and it is on this note we Conferred on him an Award of Excellence as an Icon of Youths Empowerment and Grand Patron of this Noble Association In recognition and appreciation of his tremendous contribution towards educational development, Youth empowerment and services to the Nation.

In Acknowledging the honor bestowed upon him, Hon. Danga appreciate them for finding him worthy of this recognition.

He Charged the Association to look beyond the name of this forum by Changing the Narratives of the present generation from analog point of view to digital reasoning in all our endeavors.

He encouraged them to always organize symposium, seminars and talk show especially for our youths to deviate from drug abuse, juvenile delinquency and other social vices which has been bedevilling our societies.

Hon. Danga further encourage them to always Speak with one voice wherever they’re and reaffirm that it’s Youth O’clock and this is the time for the Youth of this great Country to take over the mantle of leadership.

He once again appreciate them for the recognition and dedicated the award to his lovely wife who has been his backbone and the great pillar to his success.
