…Kabba/Bunu LGA Chairman to be Honoured at Democracy Newsline’s 16th Public Lecture on August 19 in Abuja

The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Kogi State, Hon. Barr. Zaccheaus Dare Michael, has been selected to receive a prestigious award as the Most Valuable Executive Chairman in Kogi State by Democracy Newsline Newspaper.

The award recognises Hon. Barr. Michael’s outstanding leadership, commitment to grassroots development, and impactful governance in Kabba/Bunu LGA.

Under his administration, Kabba/Bunu has recorded significant strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, youth and women empowerment, and revenue generation.

Announcing the honour, the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of the Newspaper, Chief Olugbemi Femi, said the award is in recognition of public office holders whose performance and service delivery have brought measurable impact to their people.

“Hon. Barr. Zaccheaus Dare Michael has demonstrated visionary leadership and accountability. His administration’s focus on people-oriented projects and inclusive governance makes him the Most Valuable Executive Chairman in Kogi State for this year,” Chief Femi stated.

The award will be formally presented on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 5:00pm during the _Democracy Newsline Newspaper_ 16th Public Lecture and Induction into the Good Governance Hall of Fame holding at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.

The event will also feature a keynote lecture by Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Kogi State, and the induction of other distinguished Nigerians into the Good Governance Hall of Fame.

Chairperson of the occasion is Chief (Mrs) Moji Makanjuola, Veteran Broadcaster.
Special Guest of Honour is Hon. Mohammed Idris, Honourable Minister, Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
