
The management of a popular print and online newspaper, The Nigerian Post has found the Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Area, Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh worthy of an award of excellence in his efforts at repositioning the council for efficient service delivery and empowerment.

According to Mr. Abu Michael, Publisher/Editor in Chief, the event is part of activities to mark the anniversary of Kogi State @31 held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Press Centre, Lokoja.
He said, “this year’s Nigerian Post lecture series is tagged: ””Governance, Leadership Redefined: this House Must Not Fall””. We therefore, found Hon. Aboh worthy of recognition and honour based on his outstanding performances in his capacity as a council Chairman where has been able to reposition the Council for a greater service delivery in addition to his empowerment drive cutting across spheres”.
Represented by his Supervisory Councillor For Works, Land and Housing Hon. Simeon Omale, the Executive Chairman said, “although, anything done for Omala and her people is a service to father land. What this award will do for me is to spur me and my team to do the best we can to continue to touch lives”.

“I must equally thank and greatly appreciate His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for giving me the opportunity to be part of his team to serve Omala people.
