Hon. Aboh Meets Minning Companies In Omala LG


~Gives Charge.

Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Council, Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh today in his office met with representatives of all the companies minning coal in the area.

 

The Executive Chairman used the meeting to give serious charge to all the companies to follow due process and abide by all laid down rules and procedures.

He said, “minning activities is guided by extant laws and procedures. There is no room for defiant in your operation”.

“To keep pace with recent happenings and to further entrench peace, unity and harmonious working relationship with the company and members of the host community, I hereby request that all companies operating in Omala Local Government to furnish the local government with all relevant documents that permit them to operate and mine in the area to help resolve and determine real ownership or true company that posses the original licence to certain site”.

The charge, according to the Chairman has a seven days ultimatum.

Representatives of the companies are Gbenga Okwade for Rock Bottom Minning Ltd., Abdul Shaibu for Hul Hulde International and Abubakar Ibrahim for Monstra Energy Limited.
