Hon. Abdulrazaq Promises More Opportunities For Women In Politics


 

The Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has expresses his desires to create more opportunities for women to participate actively in governance and contribute their quota to the development of the society. He described women as the bedrock of societal growth and development saying the duo of Vice-Chairman and the council leader are glaring testimony for all.

Hon. Abdulrazaq stated this on Wednesday 20th January, 2021 in Okene when he received APC women coordinators from the eleven wards of the council on a courtesy visit. The women were led by GYB Central women coordinator and now the Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to Okene Local Government on Women Affairs, Hajia Musili Jimoh.

Earlier in a remark, Hajia Musili thanked the chairman for the opportunity to serve in his cabinet and convey special appreciations from all APC women in the Local Government to the council boss for providing the enabling environment for women to excel in politics.

The Council Chairman later presented letter of appointment to Hajia Musili as the new person in charge of women affairs.
