… Urge security agencies to be vigilant around the voting centre
A group of concern Kogi West Senatorial district Youth Forum have through their spokesman Zakari Yusuf called on the security agencies to be very vigilante at the Saturday’s Kogi West Senatorial district primaries.
The group explained in a statement that having sensed his imminent defeat, an aspirant and a serving Senator is alleged to have engaged the service of thugs to disrupt tomorrow’s voting exercise.
The efforts according to the group would allow for his name to be sneaked in using the National Executive Committee of the Party for which he is a Member.
The group disclosed that the essence of his letter today alledging threat to his life was to raise a false alarm so as to divert attention away from him.
The group said having known his antics over time, called for vigilance and alertness around the voting premises so as to forestall any sinister plots that would be intended to scuttle the process.
