A Benin Social Cultural Group, the Coalition Of Benin Socio- Cultural Organization, ( CBSCO), has said their historic visit to Europe has further exposed it the many benefits of our rich cultural heritage as well as created an opportunity to inspect some Museums, meet and engage relevant Stakeholders, attracts support to Oba Palace and thank those that have been promoting the project.
The group in a release made available to journalists in Benin City and signed by the Secretary General of the Organisation, Mr Osaro Iyamu Culture said the coalition is on Working Visit to European Countries to integrating them into the main activities and programmes of our revered Throne.
Iyamu said, “ as part of our Cultural Engagements Working Visit to European Countries, we are here to inspect some Museums, meet and engage relevant Stakeholders, attracts support to Oba Palace and thank those that have been promoting and projecting the rich Benin cultural heritage in diaspora and ask them to continually do so. “
According to him, the Leadership and Members including Stakeholders of EDO CULTURAL ASSOCIATION ROME LA210 who received the delegations were briefed on the plans and itineraries of the team while in Europe with a view to integrating them into the main activities and programmes of our revered Throne.
“We are canvassing support for Benin Royal Throne and we urges Diaspora Stakeholders to get involved in upholding Edo Rich Cultural Heritage.”

The President of Edo Cultural Association Rome, Mr. Samuel Izekor welcome the delegations to Rome, Italy and thanked them for engaging stakeholders to ensure that the Benin cultural heritage remains as the greatest in the world.
Iyamu said , the unwavering passion and struggle is to continually defend the Benin Kingdom and it’s Throne and appeal to them to practically get involve in the activities of Ọba Palace such as the construction of Benin Royal Museum, the yearly Igue Festival and upholding the rich cultural heritage of Benin Kingdom.
Similarly, Mr. Solomon Okoduwa who is also a Leader of the delegation threw more light on the trip wherein he explained how he led the team of Humbordt Forum to Oba Palace 4 months ago and mentioned the Organizations/Institutions that the delegations will meet and engage during the trip while it last.
