Delegates to the forthcoming Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Congress have been asked to think of the future of Kogi State, their children, children that are yet unborn in making wise decisions in who emerges the PDP Flagbearer.
A Chieftain of the PDP in Lokoja LGA, Alhaji Ismail Tunduwa Iliyasu made the call in a statement, described Arc. Yomi Awoniyi as the best bet for the party and State come 2023 governorship election.
The PDP Chieftain described Awoniyi as a friend of Lokoja/ Koto, said he stood by an illustrious son of Lokoja in person of Alh. Abdulrazaq Isa Kutepa when he contested, described Awoniyi as reliable and dependable.
He also described Awoniyi as very loyal to Capt. Idris Wada as Deputy Governor, described the leading Governorship Aspirant as a friend to many Ebiras, Igalas from the cradle, described him as detribalized Kogite.
The PDP Chieftain described Awoniyi as very matured in handling issues, has capacity, competence is cosmopolitan, explained that he is an urbane Politician with the requisite qualifications to Govern the State in 2023.
The PDP Chieftain described Arc. Yomi Awoniyi as the real unifier and a Bridge builder Kogi State needs, assured that he has all it takes to return the State to a civilize State amongst comity of States in Nigeria.
While pointing out that amongst the aspirants in all the political parties, Arc. Awoniyi stands out, would better govern the State to the good of humanity and better positioned the State.
