The Nasarawa State Government has paid bonus to workers of the State Civil Service.
Our Nigerian Post Correspondent said the bonus is first of its kind, coming 48 hours to the Governorship and State House of Assembly Election.
The State Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Audu Sule had earlier promised to pay the workers 13 Month which never came, until the bonus said to aid the workers travel for the election.
According to the workers who spoke with the Nigerianpost, the bonuses ranges from N15,000, N25,000 and more for top civil servants.
While some of the workers are in jubilant mood upon receiving the alert, other are alledging the State Governor of vote buying.
All efforts to speak with the spokesman of the Nasarawa State Government for his reaction to the allegations of vote buying proved abortive as he could not be reached on his phone number.
