Governor Ododo Commends Comr Ameh Williams Williams on Security, Urges Continued Efforts

The Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Comr Ameh Williams received commendation from the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, during a closed-door meeting at the State Government House in Lokoja.

The meeting, held yesterday, focused on advancing security, development, and prosperity within the local government area.

Governor Ododo’s recognition highlights Comr. Williams’ outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to security. His efforts were particularly praised following the successful rescue of 11 Cameroonian tourists and staff of Zuma Engineering Company, who were kidnapped along the Echechele-Igah-Ejule Road last week. This acknowledgment reaffirms his dedication to safeguarding lives and property in Olamaboro.

The discussions between the council chairman and the governor covered critical issues, including security reinforcement, the reconnection of Olamaboro to the national power grid, the construction of the Ibana-Inwa and Imane township roads, agricultural development, and expanded training opportunities for residents.

This engagement underscores the state government’s commitment to harnessing its potential and creating an enabling environment for sustainable growth. The Olamaboro Local Government Council remains optimistic about the positive outcomes of this meeting and looks forward to strategic partnerships that will drive lasting development and economic progress for the local government and Kogi State as a whole.
