The Executive Chairman of Okehi LGA, Hon Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare today represented His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State at Oke-Offin in Kabba/Bunu LGA as the Security Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello empowers his constituents, mobilizes support for APC and as well received Decampees from the opposition into APC’s fold.
The programme which attracted crowd of Party faithfuls to the venue was attended by the host Council Chairman, Hon Moses Olorunleke; APC Kogi West Senatorial Candidate, Hon Sunday Karimi; APC House of Assembly Candidate for Kabba/Bunu Constituency, Hon Seyi Bello; General Manager of Kogi State Postal, Advertisement & Signage, Hon Osaseyi Richard and a host of prominent APC Chieftains and Dignitaries.
In his speech, His Excellency appreciated Comdr. Jerry Omodara for identifying with his people and of course giving back to them the dividends of democracy based on their immediate needs. He applauded Comdr. Omodara for knowing how the grassroots operates and as well addressing it judiciously in line with his Boss’ stewardship style. Asking the good people of Oke-Offin and by extension Bunu Land and Kogi West in general to support APC and all her Candidates in the forthcoming elections, he assured them of more dividends of democracy as his government would continue to be people based. He did not also fail to encourage the Ebira ethnic group who constitutes about 10% of the voting strength in the area to vote APC from top to bottom; even as he urged them to throw their weight wholeheartedly behind APC in the forthcoming elections.
The climax of the programme was the empowerment of the constituents with various items and cash and lastly followed by receiving the Decampees into APC.
