The people of Odu Ogbaloto Community in Dekina local local government area have commended Governor Yahaya Bello and the state Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Okala for the provision of portable drinking water to their area.
They made the commendations when the community took delivery of the multi million naira project single handedly financed by the State Auditor General Alhaji Yakubu Okala amidst pomp and peasantry at Odu Ogbaloto Community.
The traditional ruler of Ogbaloto, Alhaji Ibrahim Omatiga , Omachi Ata Modu of Odu who spoke on Saturday while receiving the water project on behalf of the Community, said the 5000 litre capacity electrically propelled borehole describes Alhaji Yakubu Okala as a worthy son of the community.
The borehole which was handed over to the community by the Personal Assistant to Auditor General, Mr Abdullahi Suleiman is believed will reduce the perenial water scarcity that has been a nightmare for thousands of residents of the area.
Chief Omatiga, while appreciating the efforts of Honourable Yakubu Okala for his positive response to the yearnings of the people of the community, appealed to the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, and the State Auditor General to provide solar energy to the area to provide security to the facilities given to them.
The Monarch, who commended the Governor over the execution of several projects across the state, assured him of the unflinching support and loyalty, wishing him success in his quest to lead Nigeria and redeem it from the clutches of bad leaders.
Hundreds of residents of the area led by the Community leader , Mohammed Isa, Youths leader Bala Atai, Gago of the area Mohammed Fada Oseni, APC Ward Chairman Hon Akuh Abdullahi and the Councillor representing Odu 1 Hon.Suleiman Mohammed, in their seperate speeches thanked the Auditor General for his commitment to the well-being of the people of Odu Ogbaloto.
They praised the State Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Okala for his deep passion in investing in the human and infrastructural growth of their various communities adding that the duos of Senator Jibrin Isah Echo Echo and Alhaji Yakubu Okala have made them proud for their contributions in the rapid development of Dekina local government in general.
Thanking the Community leaders, APC leadership and the entire people of the areas, the Personal Assistant to the Auditor General, Mr Abdullahi Suleiman, urged them to maintain and sustain their loyalty and commitment to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) so as to gain more divdends of democracy.
He therefore tasked the leaders and the entire people of the area to protect both government and privately provided infrastracture meant for their well-being and report any suspicious movements of saboteurs to the relevant authorities…. Continue reading
