Gov. Ododos Political Adviser, Hon. Ametuo meets with opposition political parties in Kogi
… seeks collaboration in moving State forward
The Special Adviser to Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo on Political Affairs, Hon Hadi Ametuo has called on opposition political parties in the State to join hands with the present administration of Gov Ododo in moving the State forward.
The Special Adviser gave the charge when he held a meeting with the leadership of opposition political parties and candidates of other parties in the last Governorship election.
The Special Adviser appealed for peace and unity in efforts to move the state forward.
He said the present administration of Gov Ododo will continue to harness the ideas of opposition parties in the State so as to work with APC led administration.
He also use the opportunity to appreciate the political parties that supported APC before, during the Governorship election that saw Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo emerge as the Governor of the State.
In his remarks, the spokes man of the coalition of political parties and former IPAC Chairman and Coordinator of the coalition, Hon Ibrahim Itodo, now a member of the APC, appreciated the Special Adviser for making out time to interface with the leadership of political parties, assured of a rewarding partnership.
Hon. Itodo wished Gov. Ododo and the Party chairman success in their endeavors, prayed for wisdom to pilot the office to the Glory of God and humanity.
Hon. Itodo appreciated Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo for identifying “a square peg in a square hole in person of Hon. Ametuo, said his ” long experience in political party management is an advantage for the present administration”.
Hon. Itodo profoundly assured the coalition political parties that their efforts will not be in vain as his Gov. Ododo has promised to form an all inclusive government where some representatives of the political parties will be involved in the day to day running of the administration.
He assured the special Adviser that the cooperation given to the ruling all progressive congress (APC) is basically to avoid retrogressive governance after election.
He e went further to assure him that with his capability as the special Adviser, politically, “we can foresee lots of changes in our future elections as the opposition are fully prepared to cooperate with him”.
