By joshua Gov Ododo to Lead Bassa Youth Security Parley April 25
The Ododo Bassa Youths Grassroots Initiative says arrangements are in top gear for a Youth Security Round Table Parley slated for April 25, 2026, at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Lokoja.
Comrade Victor MD Kpanaki, Coordinator of OBIGI 4+4, disclosed that Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo will attend as Special Guest of Honour.
The parley is themed “Sustaining and Ensuring Peace in Bassa LGA: 2027 in Focus.”
Comrade Joel Oyibo Salihu will serve as Guest of Honour.
Other dignitaries expected at the event include the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara; Kogi State Auditor General, Hon. Okala Yusuf Yakubu; Senator representing Kogi East, Jibrin Isah; Member representing Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, Hon. Gowon Haruna; and Bassa LGA Chairman, Hon. Theophilus Danjuma Adama.
Kpanaki said other notable Nigerians are also expected at the parley, which seeks to address security challenges in Bassa Local Government Area ahead of 2027 will hold at the Banquet Hall of Kogi State Government House, Lokoja, by 10:00am.
Highlights of the Parley is the recognition of some personalities who have distinguished themselves in their field of endeavors.
