Gov Ododo solidifies unity as he consolidates visits to Kogi East, West

Unity is the engine that drives the development of every sector. Where there is acrimony progress remains static. Governments across the globe therefore strive for unity to in order to achieve social order and positive progress.
The black race is bedevilled with disunity and it has hampered development in Africa. The current rancour enveloping leadership in some West Africa nations all boils down to lack of unity within the federating units of those nations. Lack of unity has endangered peace and had retard progress in most West Africa nations.
The Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo understands the importance of unity even prior to his assumption into office as the state governor. While he was the Auditor General of the state, he carried all the staff members along in the discharge of his duties. The Ebiras, Igalas and Okun all saw themselves as one in carrying out their daily routine when the governor was the then Auditor General for Local Government in the state.
Today, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is on the saddle as the Executive Governor. He has succeeded in carrying over his quality leadership mantra as a goveenor the same way he displayed while he was the state Auditor General of the state. He strongly believes in total unity of the people and its benefits.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo abhors tribalism. He is a servant leader of the people and has continued to demonstrate this sterling qualities as the number one citizen of the state.
It is on record that apart from his campaign days, he has continued to visit Kogi East on state functions. Not quite too long, he visited Idah town – the cradle of Igala nation to flag- off a 7.2 km township road. While in Idah town, the governor used the opportunity to admonish the teeming youths in the area on the need for them to support his administration in bringing development closer to the grassroots. He equally advise them to shun vices and focus on vocations that are capable of improving their lots. His message was very clear to the people. He believes with unity all the various segments which makes up the state can function for the positive development of the state.
In recent time, His Excellency, the Chief Servant of the state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo stamped his feet in Ankpa town which is one of the economic nerve center of Igala Kingdom. His Excellency was on official duty in Ankpa town to commission some projects in the area. While in the area the governor continued to harp on unity. He called on the people to see the three senatorial districts of the state as one. This is because he strongly believes that with unity the state will move on the lane of continued progress.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has within the short period he has spent in office given the unity of the state top priority in his administration. It is therefore of no surprise today that the state is witnessing peace and an endearing progressive development.
In Kogi West the governor has also been visiting the district on official functions. He has made the district his home and has continued to intensify his official visits to the area.
Recently many indigines of Kogi West defected from some other political parties to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state. This was made possible because the people of Kogi West have been witnessing positive development strides in their senatorial district and across every nooks and cranny of Kogi State.
His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is a detribalized leader in the state. Every Local Government and tribe in the state is being carried along in his administration. For the first time in the state, the two hundred and thirty nine wards in the state have the governor’s Special Assistants. With the appointment every ward has direct touch with the Chief Servant of the state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Kogi State is today lucky to have a servant leader in person of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the executive governor of the state. His positive leadership style has entrenched unprecedented peace and positive infrastructural development. He is a rare leader whose magic wand in the administration of the state is legendary.
I appeal to all the citizens of Kogi State to continue to support the good administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. He is a rare leader with the genuine leadership traits to place the state on the part of unprecedented and persistent development.
For his continued good leadership Governor Ododo deserve a second term in office
