Gov. Ododo is NULGE, NULGE is Ododo, No Vacancy in Lugard House Till 2031 – Kogi NULGE President
The President, Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees says Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo is NULGE and NULGE is Ododo.
The President made the disclosure at the celebration of his one year anniversary, said NULGE has assured to
stand by the administration of Gov. Ododo.
He assured of support for Gov. Ododo in the 2027 Governorship election, declared a no vacancy in Lugard House till 2031.
The NULGE President recognize the outstanding qualities of Hajia Habitat Tijani Onukoko, the State Accountant General, described her as the Pillar of NULGE in the State.
The President described the Chairman of Local Government Service Commission as NULGE owned, added that the Special Adviser on Labour Matters, Comr. Onuh Edoka as a rare breed special Adviser, committed to the well-being of workers in the State.
The President of NULGE, Kogi State Chapter, Comr. Mohammed Sanusi, said the impactful administration of Gov Ododo has remained rewarding for Local Government workers.
In a related development, workers in the 21 Local Government Areas of the State have been assured of the payment of their 2025 leave bonuses in the month of June.
The assurances was also made to the workers by the State Accountant General, Hajia Habibat Tijani Onumoko, who represented Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo while making a remarks to mark the one year anniversary of Comr. Mohammed Sanusi as NULGE President and the unveiling of Comr. Tom Abutu NULGE House.
The Accountant General described the present administration of Gov Ododo as one that is committed to making lives meaningful for people working at the Local Government level.
The Accountant General praised NULGE in the State for their unity and Sense of purpose for the Gov. Ododo’s administration, urged them to sustain their support.
In his remarks, the Special Adviser on Labour Matters Comr Onuh Edoka, added his voice to the event, pointing out that the labour friendly disposition of the present administration, urged for the continued support of NULGE for the Ododo’s administration.
Also speaking, Comr. Gabriel Amari, NLC State Chairman, urged for the sustenance of the welfare packages in the State for workers, praised the Ododo’s administration for making local Government administration a priority.
Speaking, the NULGE President, said his one year administration was made eventful with the disposition of Gov. Ododo to workers.
He added that following the enabling environment created for LG workers, said workers have decided to endorse Gov Ododo for the 2027 election, described Lugard House as no vacancy for other aspiring politicians.
Highlights of the event was the Unveiling of the NULGE House to Comr. Tom Abutu JP NULGE House. The NULGE President said it is in recognition of his support in laying a solid foundation for NULGE in the State.
In his remarks, Comr. Abutu described the gesture as a surprise assured that he will continue to work for the Union, appreciated Gov. Ododo for the support for local Government workers.
The event was attended by the State Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Adams Adabenege, who equally lauded the leadership style of the NULGE President in the last one year.
