Gov. Bello Is Nigeria’s Option – Hon. Wemi Jones


 

Gov. Yahaya Bello has been described as the Option for Nigeria, described as a one whose passion for the education sector is irreversible.

 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones made the disclosure when he received in audience the new President,
Comrade Olusegun Toluwashe and Leadership of the Student Union Government, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.

Hon. Jones described the unquenchable love of Gov. Bello as one that has made him top on the thematic list of his administration.

The Commissioner congratulated the new student Union Government leadership, said they are lucky to have been elected under the leadership of a man who as Governor does not compromise standards of education in the State.

He urged the Students to shun vices like cultism and others that would be inimical to to their studies, disclosed that if there is anything the Governor abhors, it is cultism and exam malpractice.

He described Gov. Yahaya Bello as an option for Nigeria’s future, urged the students to in the coming days form a formidable force to rally support for the governor’s ambition.

The Commissioner urged the students to remain focus and not be distracted, insisting that the state is blessed with a Governor who does not politicise education nor place it in the second fiddle.

Hon. Wemi Jones disclosed that the present administration under the leadership has without mincing words done so much in the education sector, charged the students not to allow themselves to be used as tools in the hands of politicians.

In a remarks, Comrade Olusegun Toluwashe, the newly elected President said having been elected, they have resolved to work towards ensuring that the gains made in the Polytechnic is sustained.

The President commended the Present administration of Gov. Bello for his passion for Education, commended the Commissioner for the giant strides he has made thus far.
