Gov. Bello Embarks On Project Inspection In Kogi Central. … Inspects Kogi State Reference Hospital, Okene, New Ohinoyi Palace, Several Roads


 

As part of the commitment of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State to fulfilling his “Doing More” mantra, has embarked on project inspection in Kogi central Senatorial District.

Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello on Tuesday inspected the ongoing construction works at the Kogi State Reference Hospital, Okene.

The Governor who was led by the Kogi State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engr. Abaubakar S. Ohere inspected the over 300-bed space hospital which will be equipped with state of the art medical equipment.

Governor Bello commended the contractors, site engineers and other construction workers for the speed and quality of job done so far.

He disclosed that when completed, the Kogi State Reference Hospital, Okene and other health infrastructure his administration is providing will address medical needs of the people of the state and Nigeria by extension.

On the road projects Gov. Bello commended the contractors for working to specification, reiterated his administration’s commitment to the road project through the release of close to N4billion naira across the state.

 

In a remarks, Engr. Abubakar Ohere expressed satisfaction with the pace of work, commended Gov. Bello for adequate release of funds for all the ongoing projects.

Other projects inspected by Gov. Bello include the New Ohinoyi Palace and roads from Variki market, to Ozuwaya and to Water works road amongst other projects.
