The Edo North Senatorial Districts Elders Forum of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has affirmed their belief in the principle of zoning/rotation as enshrined in the 1999 PDP Constitution (as amended).
This was disclosed in a communique issued during the Forum meeting held on Sunday, 19th November, 2023, at the residence of Chief (Dr) Mike Oghiadomhe, former Deputy Governor of Edo State to examine the current political dynamics in the State with particular reference to the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State.
The Forum noted with concerned about the seeming tension arising and appeals to all stakeholders across the three senatorial districts to be statesmanly and patriotic in dealing with the issues in the overriding interest of the state.
The Forum, accordingly, calls on all stakeholders in Edo State to respect the PDP Constitution as laid down by our forebearers to sustain equity, peace, justice, inclusiveness, fairness, brotherhood and geo-political balance.

COMMUNIQUE OF THE MEETING OF PDP EDO NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT
A meeting of Edo North Senatorial District Elders Forum was held on Sunday, 19th November 2023, at the residence of H.E. Chief (Dr) Mike Oghiadomhe, CFR, to examine the current political dynamics in Edo State with particular reference to the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.

Consequently, the Forum resolved as follows:-
