The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of HRH. Dr. Barr. Muhammed N. Ibrahim as the Etsu of Kinmakun, 3rd Class status.
In a letter of appointment signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Salami Momodu Ozigi reads thus:
” I have the pleasure to inform you that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello has approved your appointment as the Etsu of Kinmakun, 3” Class status, with effect from 12″ August, 2022.
2. This is in exercise of the power conferred on the Governor by section 29 of the Kogi State Chiefs (Appointment, Deposition and Establishment of Traditional Councils)
Law No. 23 of 2006.
3. Your appointment is based on conviction that you possess the
requisite quality of tact, integrity, maturity, industry and patriotism to shoulder the responsibility of the office of Etsu of Kinmakun. You are expected to always ensure unity, peace, security and tranquility in your domain
4. The Salary and other fringe benefits attached to your office is the same as applicable to other Traditional Rulers of your status
