Give priority to education, wellbeing of children – Visioner, Proprietor, Kelien International Schools, lokoja, Dr Esv Jude Egbita


 

 

Parents and guardians have been called upon to give priority to the education and wellbeing of their children and wards at all levels of education.

 

 

The Visioner and Proprietor of Kelien International Schools, lokoja, Dr Esv Jude Egbita made the call at the weekend while addressing parents at the PTA meeting of the school as part of activities marking the schools open day.

According to Dr. Egbita, the call became necessary inview of the present economic challenges facing the country, stating that attaining academic Excellence requires sacrifice of parents, teachers and stakeholders in the industry.

He commended staff for their commitment and asked for sustenance of the standard of the institution.

Dr Egbita who used the ocassion to announce that the Kelien International school have been granted approval to commence junior WAEC and Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, lauded the ministry of Education for granting the approval and pledged that the school authority will not compromise Excellence, quality education and standards already attained.

Earlier the Chairman of the school PTA Executive, Simeon Onakpa Ph.D, commended the proprietor, the school Management, assuring that PTA will continue to support the vision of the proprietor.

As part of the support to the school MANAGEMENT team the PTA chairman announced that the PTA wll provide the school with full solar powered CCTV cameras that will cover the entire classrooms and surrounding of the school premises to ensure safety of the Staff and students of the School.

Other areas the PTA chairman talked on was the provision of waste bins, debates and quiz among classes and teachers as well as the introduction of Scholarship in line with the Proprietor plan for the school.

The meeting featured inspection and ratings of the students and pupils performance as part of the open day of the school.
