APC to sue Tambuwal, Ortom, Obaseki, others


The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has filed a land mark lawsuit before a Federal High Court in Abuja, challenging the defection of some governors that were elected on its platform, but defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

This medium gathered from reliable sources that the party has already hired a sizeable number of Senior Advocates of Nigeria SANs for the job.

According to our sources, those whose defection from the APC is being challenged by the APC are Gov Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state, Samuel Ortom of Benue state and Godwin Obaseki of Edo state.t

The sources also confirmed to our reporter that APC is also challenging the defection of the former Senate President Bukola Saraki who also defected from the APC to PDPAPC is being challenged by the APC are Gov Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state, Samuel Ortom of Benue state and Godwin Obaseki of Edo state. asking the court to bar him from contesting any elective position in the country for the next 30 years, as punishment for the defection.

Our reporter said the Senior Advocates hired ( number withheld) for the job have since commenced the litigation process and will be in court on Monday.
